This is such a fun race as it is a women’s only race. Everyone is so supportive and we are able to see women of all ages and sizes out there running . Not one runner was down on another runner, everyone encouraged each other to keep going and doing your best.

Really tough Half Marathon course but the most beautiful I have ever run. I don’t really mind IF it was a little short in distance – my legs were shot. But I’m not sure if it was short – my Garmin never exactly matches any race’s distance. Support was exceptional. I couldn’t ask for more – I just need to train more for steep hills for next year! Also, I especially liked being able to start early with the walkers – every other race I start last and spend the most time in the heat and sun, finishing with the food etc gone at the finish. HerMadison treated me so kindly!!
