New couse this year, with an interesting up hill start.
The group of runners I was with, about 2 miles into the race, were stopped by police guards along the course to let a police and emergency vehicle through. Turns out there was a vehicle accident along the course about 400 meters ahead of us.
There was adequate water stations along the course, particularly since it was a cold and rainy day to start.
The from about mile 11.5 to mile 13 was a strategically placed uphill run, with about 200 meter downhill sprint to the finish.
The finisher medals were excellent. Very interesting and fun Halloween design. Looking forward to running again this coming year.

i ran this in 2022. i believe the course has changed since then. idk why but this was my favorite half that i’ve done. no huge production, which was a nice change from my usual race choices. i just registered that morning and was good to go. parking was local street parking. course was hilly but i enjoyed it. beautiful foliage. halloween candy at some water stops. soft pretzels at the end. the miles flew by!
