Hamburg Half Marathon (PA)

The Hamburg Half Marathon is a fast run on the newly completed section of the local favorite, Schuylkill River Trail (SRT). The SRT runs along the banks of the Schuylkill River. This course is extremally scenic and located in the historic area running in between the Blue Mountains and across the Appalachian Trail.

Courses
Both races are an out and back on the SRT towards Port Clinton . Starting at the Kernsville Dam Recreation Area, the half marathon will run out to the Auburn Bridge and then back. The route includes views of the Stony Creek, the train station, and the crossing of the Appalachian Trail. The trail is flat and shaded which makes it a perfect spot!

3-1/2 hour time limit for the half.

Aid Stations
– 5k with water
– Aid stations will be approximately every two miles for the half when possible. We encourage everyone to bring their own fuel.
– Water and post race food/snacks will be available at the start/finish area.

T-shirts|Medals
– Amazing race-themed short-sleeve shirt.
– Unique medal symbolic for the Hamburg will be awarded to all participants for the half and 5k.
