While the course itself wasn’t anything to write home about—mainly a run through town, it was nice to run through several of the city parks though—what truly stood out was the incredible support. The race staff, volunteers, and overall organization were absolutely top-notch. Everything was well-marked, well-managed, and runner-focused from start to finish.
And let’s talk about the swag—amazing! The race day goodies were some of the best I’ve received. You could really tell the team behind this event cared about creating a great experience for runners.
All in all, while the course didn’t wow me, the heart and hospitality behind this race made it totally worth it. A+ for support and spirit!

This race was very well organized. The course was well marked and well staffed with volunteers. The aid stations were plentiful and the weather was perfect. Hastings is a cute little town. This was a great race to add Nebraska to my 50 states goal.
