Before I start: I LOVED the race!

4000 runners (5k, 10k, 21k, 42k) started at the same time in the third edition of the race. Start was with no corals which mad the start a bit bumpy, but the main road along the maritima is wide. The race started at 7:30 shortly after dawn and the temperatures in November are ideal for running. Very flat course, plenty of water stops. The course led along some of the major side and included running through a market in the morning before it starts to get too busy and along Kuwait Towers. I finshed with a new PB. The finishers area was at the waterfront, red carpets, plenty of food and drinks and free massages for half and full marathoners.
Before going to Kuwait you have to consider it is an Islamic country. Women can wear their hair open, but no alcohol, no smoking, no dancing. You need a visa that you can get at the airport (about 10 US dollars) or online (give them like 5 days to process your request)
