Grosse Ile is an island at the mouth of the Detroit River into Lake Erie. The blue waters and luxurious homes made it quite picturesque. The course and flat and fast. It’s limited to about 500 runners of all levels.
For $25, we received a very nice sweatshirt. The food selection was plentiful. Medals were given to those who placed.
I will definitely do this race again.
