I have run this event multiple times.
Show up early to park near check in and start finish
Know that it does go through a cemetery(Saw one person freak out and turn around at the gates as they realized it was mostly in it)
Know that in 2018 the end of the race had a train issue, but it was a fun mad dash to be part of at the end.

Good 4 miler on Thanksgiving morning. Nice and hilly so despite the short mileage it is a good workout.

It starts at a local university and you run a mile down to a cemetery then 2 hilly miles in the cemetery then back to the start.
This race has become a Thanksgiving tradition for a lot of Ft Wayne people. So mix of runners / joggers / walkers / strollers and little kids. Pretty decent size race of 2 to 3,000 people. They used to have a 15k or 4 miler but do to logistical issues they discontinued the 15k.

Package pick up the night before is easy and quick. Held at the same college where the race starts.
Tons of up close parking the morning of. Lots of energy and rah rah spirt by the organizers. Nice to be able to park real close to the start / finish and stay in the car during cold weather until 5 minutes before the start.

The course is nice and wide enough to accommodate everybody.
The only bling is a cotton t shirt.

So good to do for short quick hilly race in a well organized fashion on Thanksgiving morning.
