When I ran this race the course went through an industrial park in Rhode Island. The race was well executed, however, there was no scenery.
I believe the race has since returned to Massachusetts so my experience is likely no longer accurate

The course was described as "New England Hilly" and it was much more "hilly" than I was expecting. I am from a part of New England with very few hills, … MORE
The course was described as “New England Hilly” and it was much more “hilly” than I was expecting. I am from a part of New England with very few hills, and many of the other participants were equally surprised by the difficulty of the hills. I would say that many aspects of the race were pretty normal- the aid stations offered water or gatoraid. The tshirts were bright yellow with an uncolored print of the monkey head that is the logo. There was plenty of parking. The scenery was just local streets and a golf course. They had some sort of activities at the end with pizza, but things were winding down by the time I got there (I was not nearly the last person to finish). Overall I would say it is an ok race. I wouldn’t go again. But the price is alright and I’m sure some folks thought it was a good race.

The course was described as “New England Hilly” and it was much more “hilly” than I was expecting. I am from a part of New England with very few hills, and many of the other participants were equally surprised by the difficulty of the hills.
