This was a total hidden gem of a race/community event. For a pretty inexpensive price (if you sign up right away) you get a really well produced event and some great swag!
This was a point-to-point 5K. You park at the finish (lots and lots of parking), pick up your shirt and bib, and get on a shuttle bus (school bus) to the start. The busses were super efficient and on time, the ride was about 15-20 minutes to the start. There were three different waves for the 5K so runners could be spread out. We ran along the walking path that goes along the Foster City shoreline and finish up south of the San Mateo Bridge.
At the finish, there were a lot of vendors and a little community event was happening to enjoy. The medal was handed to you wrapped in its original plastic and is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and beautifully crafted/designed. The shirt was also beautiful, although unisex, so that was kind of a bummer as I would love to be wearing it ( but the XS is way too big for me as a woman). Considering the low cost, I won’t complain about the shirt!
I hope to do this event again!

The swag is really good and the race is well organized. A fun overall experience whether you’re racing for time or just for fun! The course is flat the whole way, it runs along the bay trail and the finish is at the San Mateo bridge so you have a gauge of how far you have to go. Hope to do it again!
