Good running event. Low cost entry fee when you register early. Three distances, 5 miler, 5K, and a 2 miler.
Good course, an out and back for all three distances. Only a few turns. I ran the 5 miler Slight decline on the way out so a slight incline on the way back in to the finish.
5 miler starts first. You will join back up with the 5k and 2 milers at mile 3.5.
Three water stations with water and sports drink.
Finish line water and sports drink is available. All finishers get a medal.
Post race they had nutrition bars, watermelon, tacos, beer, applesauce, and some other vendors handing out stuff.
Event is at Clyde Warren Park, lots of shade and places to sit.
Awards only went to first overall male/female and masters male/female in the 5k and 5 mile. No age group awards.
Nice finisher medal, nice event t-shirt, and you get a pair of sunglasses.
Good event. Worth checking out if you find yourself in the Dallas area for the 4th of July holiday.
