2026 was my first time running this event but I may come back. It was super fun in a main shipping and restaurant area in Pigeon Forge.
The race follows along the river and there were plenty of Christmas lights still up making for a festive time. There was coffee and hot cocoa at the start. I found the course to be pretty flat and easy. Police were present to direct traffic so no issues there.
Volunteers were super friendly and touched it out in the cold to make sure participants were taken care of.
My last noteworthy observation is that the t shirts are really cute and made of high quality material.
Protip: there’s a Taco Rancho you can walk to in nine minutes or drive since they have their own parking. Very tasty!
