Be prepared that this run is in and out of the Kanawha forest for 95% of the race and has steep inclines and declines. There is not an a clear trail which made it more fun for me. They do a great job of marking trees for the path. Definitely not a race to PR but a once in a lifetime experience either amazing scenery. There are 3 self serve water stations and areas to rest if needed
