Crossroads of Northwest Indiana Marathon

Welcome to Northwest Indiana’s longest running marathon. We have unified four towns to create one regional running event. This course will start and finish in Schererville. It will take you through the towns of Schererville, Griffith, Merrillville and Crown Point Indiana. You will also run through parts of Lake County Parks. The course is flat and fast city streets and paved bike trail. We brought this course in from the hilly back roads of Indiana to the flatter city streets to help you have a better chance to qualify for Boston should you so desire.

The marathon and half marathon will start at the same time. There will be nutrition tables that will have both water and Gatorade approximately 1 to 1.5 miles apart to help you stay hydrated during your run.

The new courses are in the process of being certified by USA Track & Field. The marathon course is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

Lowell, Indiana is about one hour southeast of Chicago, IL. So come out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and great hospitality of Northwest Indiana.
