Conroe 10, will offer runners a nice run through northern Montgomery County starting and finish at Lone Star Community College Conroe Campus. The 5 mile, two-loop course sets up for some fast times and will challenge runners to push themselves while running for a personal best or finishing their first 10 mile or 5 mile.
All 10 mile finishers, 5 mile finishers, 5k and kid’s 1 mile will receive a finishers medal. The race for the ARMADILLO and TEN GALLON Cups sets the stage for a showdown in the last 3 races after Conroe. Runners and Clubs could set themselves up nicely for the final push at Conroe.

It was a little hard finding where to go thanks to lots of road construction. But they did have lots of people with flags to get you eventually to the right place. Great run. Lots of hills. I was worried about the construction but really didn’t cause a problem to runners. Plenty of water stations. I am going to do some more from this series, Texas 10. Everything was smoothly run. I would highly recommend.

This year, the race was moved to November, and the temps were not near as cold as the previous 3 years. Nice rolling hills all along the two lap course. Start/Finish area is in the parking lot of the Lone Star College, and makes for easy parking for the race site.
