The China Coast Races (10k, half, full) are organised by the athletic veteran association of Hong Kong. They are held in north east of the city in a park to which free buses run in the morning (registration upon signing in for the race; transport back only to the university: metro or taxi/ uber from there). The course (full marathon is a slightly altered second round of the half) is on a mostly asphalted street in the park with view to the coast/ ocean. The track has cumulative about 640m (2000 feet) of uphill and downhill. Arrived in the finish we got a souvenir bottle with water, hot soup with some kind of Chinese fish filled pasta and a Hot Dog as well as a medal, Tshirt and a towel. The stuff/ volunteers were super friendly and encouraging but no crowd support along the track on which every now and then green taxis drove (they had a special permission to use the streets despite of the race).
