Cape Fear River Race 10K & Half Marathon Fayetteville, NC   Nov 8, 2026

Welcome to Fayetteville’s only Half Marathon on the Cape Fear River Trail! All races will feature different routes and use the Cape Fear River Trail. This trail is a beautiful, paved greenway trail along the Cape Fear River. The start and finish line will be at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. There will be on course support. Each route will pass under a train trestle or two. There will be no pets allowed at this event.

For those that want the extra challenge of the River Rage, you can do both races! Start with the 10K race and finish. Then race the Half Marathon and finish for a bonus challenge medal! If you finish before the Half starts, just wait and start with the crowd. If you finish after the Half starts, just continue running.
