The PA Trail Dogs are excited for the Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest. The event will be held October which will be right at the peak of fall foliage. Both courses will use the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. The Finish Line of both races will be handled by Falcon Timing and we’ll have food and drink as usual. Just a reminder that these are not beginner courses. Please train accordingly as the 25K has over 5000 feet of vertical and the 50K has about 8000. Cut-offs are in place to ensure a daylight finish.
50K starts at 6am. 25K starts at 9am.
50K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 3.5 by 7:45am. Mile 14 by 12:30pm. And mile 20.5 by 3pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight. 25K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 5.5 by 11:30am, Mile 11 by 2pm. And mile 13 by 3:30pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight.
