Nice local event. Fast and flat course through some neighborhoods and then along the American River in Sacramento, so some nice views there. This year was their 50th anniversary event. Nice enough medal (all gold in color) but wish there had been a bit more color to it because it’s hard to see what the medal is all about. Great organization and nice post-race stuff happening.
very well run, very flat

I used it as training for a half marathon. It is a small race so the course is not crowded. Not much as far as swag but I did give them a higher rating for being different and giving out durable duffle bags. The post race felt very friendly and welcoming. Overall a very good community run.

Excellent course layout on a looped course and normally I don’t like looped courses. Water stations through out. The only downside on this course was the finish line as construction was going on and about 150′ of paved asphalt was removed due to the ongoing construction at the school site. They did have a cool raffle of which everyone was included that participated.
