COURSE: Starts at Castillo de San Marcos, goes over the Bridge of Lions into the streets of Davis Shores. BOL is the only hill, otherwise all flat. Temperature was hot.
PRODUCTION: Number pickup was at Guy Harvey, was quick and easy. Parking at the Fort, or at the finish, is rather easy. Near the finish is easier, but may have a delay getting out as the course loops Davis Shores and has slower runners.
RACE SWAG: Nice shirt, nice medal, and plenty of snacks and small vendors at race finish. Nice Belts to overall winners.
OVERALL a nice run in Historic St. Augustine with 1368 runners. It was hot, so you would have to monitor your pace, and ability in the heat. Even post race, be sure to hydrate. I gave it a 5 rating as it is a good local staple race for St. A.
