This race is proper. You earn every step but are rewarded around every corner. Definitely the hardest 10 mile loop I’ve ever run, and to do it three times is a lot. Amazing aid station, RD is awesome, an absolute gem of a race. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking to get out there and try hard

This is one of those races you dream about. You’re on your own out there and that just enhances the beauty. But you also earn it, ’cause it beats you up. No single big elevation gain, but all the little ones add up. The rocks and roots keep your eyes trained and feet light. And, for me anyway, the clock is always ticking.
The management and support are equally impressive. Such kind, caring and supportive folks who take a day to work and cheer you on. And the fact that they keep it small is the icing on top.
I’ve done a lot of trail races and rarely do one more than once. This will be an exception.

The terrain is extremely technical, there are no easy steps on this course. However the technicality is balanced with amazing coastal scenery and beautiful moss covered trails.
The course is very well marked, the race organizers take safety seriously and ensure everyone has the right gear and the one aid station was stocked to the hilt with homemade goodies.
Had a blast at the bold coast bash.
The event is extremely well organized. The course is very well marked

Almost every part of the course feels slow and challenging but for a variety of different reasons from rocky coasts, slippery bog bridges, and plentiful roots, and at no moment did I ever feel bored. The views are dramatic and ever-changing. Course markings were exceptionally useful and well-placed. This is a really hard race but everyone around you is kind and there for just to be together in a special part of Maine.
There was very little waste and the organizers made everything as seamless and simple as possible!
Grueling but rewarding race
More than 5k ft of elevation gain despite the max elevation being ~250 feet, very technical single track with no real easy sections, beautiful views and very well managed race MORE
