    This was the first marathon that got me into Boston officially. It was special for that reason. It’s a shame it’s now gone, as it was a nicely organized small-town race. I also volunteered in 2018 as a volunteer pacer.

    Essentially a very flat course on pave road. A sort section was gravel (miles 21-22). Roads are not completely closed to traffic, and water stations lacked race fuel (like sports gels). Mile markers could be off by half a mile. It’s a nice inaugural marathon, which some improvements tat are minor.
