Blankenese is one of the poshest parts of Hamburg and it‘s very beautiful located at the river. It‘s well known for its many stairs. Runners can choose between 2 different half marathon courses – the easier one which has around 250 meters of altitude and the harder one which includes many stairs. I chose the easier one and that one was more than tough enough. Perfect organisation, nice medal, nice course and in the finish we got water, beer, fruits, donuts, brezel – really very lovely race!

Blankenese is one of the poshest parts of Hamburg and it‘s very beautiful located at the river. It‘s well known for its many stairs. Runners can choose between 2 different half marathon courses – the easier one which has around 250 meters of altitude and the harder one which includes many stairs.
