Here is my review from last year – I enjoy this run every year and the access to the Angel’s field. The only thing I would add is the start of the race in the infield is in shadow so it will feel a little colder then it actually is at the start:
“Great access to the infield of the Home of the Angels sponsored by the Anaheim Police department. If you have kids they will enjoy being able to spend time at the field and seeing the dugouts as well as the Police department’s horses and helicopter. There’s a 1k fun run for kids that is a loop around the field twice with a medal at the finish. it was held at 8 am with the 5k following at 8:30am
For the rest of us this is a 3rd year run with a few hundred participants that features a T-shirt and timing for the first time. The only tough parts is the initial exit and re entrance from field to parking lot. Other then that it is pretty flat. They have a great raffle of several cool items that many people didn’t stay for.
Proceeds of this event will go to the Anaheim Police Association’s Survivors & Scholarship Fund and the department’s Baker to Vegas Running Team.”
