This is a out and back half marathon that runs completely along the water under the Verrazano Bridge. The event is small (great race to place in!) and overall event production was good. The course is completely flat, but can definitely be windy because it is right alongside the water. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for a flat, small, local half. Just know that it IS out and back, which I personally do not prefer. The out and back course did give multiple opportunities for you to see your cheering squad though! 🙂
