    Course is up and down, continuous little rolling hills. Somewhat dangerous as you run on roads that are not shut down so you have oncoming traffic to deal with. There are parts that are pretty but overall the course is just weird layout in and out of the neighborhood. I’d say it was worth the $30 I paid for a sale price to run a half though!

    This was my first half-marathon. The 2018 Azle Lake Run was a great event. While the hilly course was challenging, the small crowd (168 HM participants) and fun atmosphere post race were very enjoyable. I’m sure I’ll run this one again in 2019.
