This was the first time this race was done. Course was fairly flat and scenic around SF bay on San Mateo waterfront. Check in was quick and easy. This was a St. Patty’s themed event and some people dressed up but most just wore their green race shirt. Shirt’s seemed to run a bit small. No medals and little at the end other than water, banana/oranges and nature valley bars. Unique aspect were hidden Pickles on course to trade in for sunglasses. All age groups 1st-3rd received gift cert. Ok for first time but meager showing of participants and has potential to be better next time.

This was the first time this race was done. Course was fairly flat and scenic around SF bay on San Mateo waterfront. Check in was quick and easy. This was a race for serious runners; we finished in the bottom 25% with our combination walking/running. But we loved running in Golden Gate park, the scenery is always fabulous. MORE
