This was the first time this race was done. Course was fairly flat and scenic around SF bay on San Mateo waterfront. Check in was quick and easy. This was a St. Patty’s themed event and some people dressed up but most just wore their green race shirt. Shirt’s seemed to run a bit small. No medals and little at the end other than water, banana/oranges and nature valley bars. Unique aspect were hidden Pickles on course to trade in for sunglasses. All age groups 1st-3rd received gift cert. Ok for first time but meager showing of participants and has potential to be better next time.
