I m not a “real” trail runner, but had been told for a couple of years that i would like this race. It really does have something for everyone, and the RDs and staff treat everyone like family—from the hard core trail junkies to the “back of the pack” (like me). I think everyone there seems especially encouraging to the new ultra runners. Great foot and real quality SWAG. I returned this year and making my plans for 2022. The 5K loop course is well marked and has both easy and tougher spots. 6, 12, and 24 hour options. Come and check this one out!

This is a low-key, but high-fun event. It consists of a 1.3 mile loop run in a very quiet neighborhood in Greer, S.C. it is aimed for slower runners, but you will see some people that have accomplished a great body of work in their running careers. There are also some faster runners….so this race is for everyone. The loops is easy to learn, but not boring, there is something new happening every loop. You will love the directors and the people that come to do this race. Great value for the entry fee!
