This is a great race for all levels of running or walking. After many years of my friends and family participating I was talked into doing this one. I say “talked into” because I have never ran before. It was appealing to me because it was at night and of course because of GLOW! My sister has completed many events like this and this is one of her favorites. She told me this would be a great one to try and see if you like it. We both signed up for the 5k and our friend signed up for the 10k. We all had a great time. I mentioned I was doing my first 5k and even my neighbors participated in the 5k as well. Our friend who attended actually came in 1st place for the women’s 10k – GO ASHLEY! Great run/walk, lots of fun, well organized, great location, and friendly staff to show you where to go both before and after the race. Speaking of after, the award ceremony was great and there were plenty of snacks and drinks after. I proudly kept my shirt, completion medal and race bib. Great fun no matter if you run or walk!
