Let’s start with the expo and festival area. You’re in an open museum. Plan your day to stay there for a while. So much to see and explore.

Race day was very smooth. The course took me by surprise. It was BEAUTIFUL! Very well-supported. The neighborhood come out in their front yards and offer whatever they can. And you finish back at the museum. There’s so much that they offer. Bring a compact shopping bag. And the medal is HUGE!

Great race. Well organized. Pizza at the finish line was great addition. Seeing cancer patients and survivors is very inspiring and emotional. Let your imagination run wild with decorating your bra. The men’s outfits are the best. But beware that the 5K is really 5.5K and the 15K doesn’t have much nutrition on the course. It would be great to provide some electrolytes and gels at least once or twice for the 15K. And oh, the shirts run very small. Order one or two sizes up. But very nice and soft fabric.
