So to start off, this was my very first half marathon. A friends of mine convinced me to run it with them, but they failed to mention this would be a crazy ridiculous race. Nevertheless it was super fun! Once we got off the chair lift, we were welcomed with probably the best sunset I’ve ever seen. The coarse was hard and I had to walk a lot, but I would totally do it again.

the race progressively got more difficult as i was running especially around mile 1.8 where it was a really long hill! lucky for me i was able to get up it fast with nice strides, feeling like hills might be my strong suit
