This race was amazing! Themed aid stations, beautiful scenery, a very active and engaging atmosphere.
Race planning and directions were communicated well, with maps, detailed itineraries, and a responsive director.
The course itself is beautiful, good paved trail, well marked, safe (especially at crossings- which were all staffed with flaggers). Hill 1 is easy, the second hill tests your determination!
The volunteers on this route really make the race! Costumes, themed aid stations, encouraging signs, sidewalk chalk, bells, leis, juice boxes— it’s a fun party atmosphere!
At the end of the race, the announcer brought laughs, T-shirts, medals and Nally dill pickles awaited finishers.
I’m already rounding up friends for next year’s event!
