  • I run because:

    It makes me a better wife, mother, and friend. I also run for a charity called I Run 4 Michael where runners are paired with adults or children with disabilities. I send most of my medals to my buddy Alexis who is 6 years old with Down’s syndrome. She’s an amazing little girl with a smile that is contagious!. IRun 4 Alexis! Her family has traveled from Virginia to help me participate in The Flying Pig Marathon. Her dad, Marty and I ran the 4 Way with Extra Cheese in 2016 and will be back next year to do it all over again!

This race should be on every runners especially women runner’s bucket list! My friend completed her very first 1/2 Marathon this year and what an honor it was crossing the finish line with her at the Queen Bee 1/2. This was my 3rd Queen Bee 1/2 and I’ll WILL be back next year!
