This was my first half marathon and it was an awesome experience! The shuttle to the start line, aid stations, volunteers cheering us on, everything in my experience was rock solid. The energy throughout the whole race was just what I needed to keep pushing on. There is about a 2 mile stretch that is on a road going up a hill and back down, it was challenging but was a welcome change to a downhill course. I loved that each runner got to pick the type of shirt they preferred, I LOVED that and hope its something that continues even as the event grows larger. Communication leading up to the event was excellent and when I reached out to the organizers with a question I received a prompt response. If your from the northwest you probably know the Wallace to Kellogg is beautiful so the scenery is hard to beat in my opinion. This will be a race I continue to participate in for sure!
