This is a beautiful & fun point-to-point race. Finisher shirts you get to customize, medals made by the local high school shop class, beautiful fall foliage, fun crowd support and delicious beer at the end, this race is always a must for me. The course is great for all levels as itโ€™s primarily on a decline with the exception of one out & back loop in the middle and the last almost mile. It offers enough of a challenge to make you work for a PR and make it worth it once you cross that finish line. Register early to save your spot because this race sells out quick!

This race is primarily a decline with a hill in the middle and a hill to get to the finish line. Overall, this is a great race for first timers, those rockin’ the party pace vibe & for those looking for a decent PR. Great views, fantastic course support & a focus on small town craftsmanship. The high school shop classes make the medals, a local company custom makes the finisher shirts & the local brewery provides the post race recovery drink. Can’t recommend this race enough!

The course is nestled in a valley so the sun doesnโ€™t crest the mountains until most have crossed the finish line so come prepared for an overall chilly race. Great support, both from race volunteers and neighborhood cheer squads. The race is about 0.5% DECLINE until about mile 8-9 where you have an out & back incline of 1-2%. You think youโ€™re the strongest person until mile 12 where you have almost a mile of 3-5% INCLINE just to get to the finish line. That last mile is a slog but IT IS SO WORTH IT! The finisher medal is made by the local high school shop class and is by far my most cherished. I will be back next year, just better dressed for the chilly temps. Highly recommend this race for all levels!
