I loved the race course and the medal was very amazing. I was glad there were water stations everywhere, especially since the sun started rising. The weather was nice, but I wished I was more prepared then I thought I should be. It felt cool before the race started, but upon running it became warm easily. I did feel the dehydrated toward the last 3 miles of the run. I wish I brought more running gels to help fuel, but wished I had left my jacket and arm warmers behind. Overall it was a learning experience, but it did take me 3 days to recover, since I was super sore like everywhere. I was glad that I had my customized inserts inside my running shoes. It helped lots. I wished for the loot that we got more, especially since we were celebrating 20 years of this race being held.

I loved the medal after accomplishing this run. It was my first Avengers Half Marathon and the weather was great. At first it felt cold, but as soon as I began running, I warmed up. I was motivated to finish and it helped me to finish this run in a good amount of time. There was a variety of things to see from parts of Anaheim, the Angel Stadium, as well as inside parts of Disneyland and California Adventure. I thought it entertaining to see some of our favorite Marvel Avengers and other super heroes rooting us runners on. Overall the fun was a great race.
