I really enjoyed the new course, which starts and ends at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. The chance to visit the museum is enough to sign up for this race. The course is nice challenge for people who are used to running flat courses, as it is rarely flat. The downhills are super fun, and the city has a lot of cool landmarks along the course. The bbq was good too. Only wish the shirt was a technical shirt, but the design is super cool and the shirt, while cotton, is very comfortable.

I signed up for this 10k because I was going to be camping in the area that weekend. I’m really glad I did. This is very well organized with excellent swag for runners. The second half is uphill but not too much. The elevation might have affected me but I’m not sure! Would definitely recommend this 10k to others. Leadville is a great town.

Really fun 10 k, enjoy the ocean air and views! Couple hills at the end of the race are a little steep if this is your first time. Long sleeve t shirts are cotton and design is outdated, but it makes a good painting shirt.
