The break between races was killer. Had to wait 20+ minutes between the 5k and the 10 miler start. There’s also a rough hill halfway through the 10 miler. The shirts all have Stallone’s face which feels a little overkill. On the topic of overkill, did not need 3 medals for my race.

Medal is awesome. Crowd support was great, shout out to the cheese ladies. I don’t really remember the scenery (did i black out? maybe). But I made it through my first marathon! It will hold a special place in my heart
