Tracy Edgerton's Staging Area

Awesome freaking race. Beautiful weather but not a fast course. Rolling hills all the out and back. Kicked my butt but i would definitely recommend this race.

Beautiful scenery and very well run race production. Course was hilly and took its toll on me for my current fitness level. Running by Crazy Horse is pretty moving. Course doesn’t lend itself to crowd support but volunteers were still amazing. Finishes in a cute small little town. Definitely worth doing but not a PR course.

I knew it was hilly but man didn’t know it was going to be that hilly. Took it out of me from mile 11 on. Ran out of talent quickly. Fun to push yourself but this course is difficult.

Not a great race but it suffices for one of the states. Not great but not horrible either. It is what it is and i have run worse courses. I
Did it with 8 friends so obviously that makes it all worthwhile. Carry on Comrades!

Unbelievable scenery and the views were amazing. We had perfect weather and the community support was beyond compare. Definitely a must do race and especially if you are doing 50 states.

Spectacular views of the mountains and the university. City is very clean and the course was as depicted but the hills and altitude was a bit much for this low mileage guy. A race definitely worth doing but not a PR course.

Great race setup, management and overall production. Course is a flat out and back with some pretty views and nice homes. Not a lot of crowd support because it is held on a rail trail but the people who did show up were awesome and the aid station workers were very encouraging as well. Definitely a race worth doing.

Rolling hills out and back through the serene country side of Osage, IA. Definitely worth doing if you like
Small town races. Put this one on your list if you are a 50 stater.

This race is an absolute gem. Great course, city, cause, neighborhood support, super volunteers, etc. etc. This is a top notch race and a must do especially if you are a 50 Stater.

Awesome race from top to bottom, but that is expected. I know, but it was even better than I had expected. Exceptional course, race production, weather, volunteers, etc. etc. It goes without saying that if you ever qualify you need to run it. Simply the Best!

Great course and pretty but I ran it during COVID so it wasn’t the usual course or post-race party but seems like it would be a blast. This ended up being my worst performance ever due to the heat and knee problems. Nothing to do with the RD or organization. Definitely worth doing.

Definitely recommend this race especially to the 50 staters. The two loop course isn’t bad and incorporating the university is a nice touch.

Definitely run this race. Great production all around. Great course, weather, expo, post party, sponsors, and the whole nine yards. Everyone should take the chance if given the opportunity.

Make your way to the north. Man, this is quite possibly the best race I have ever run. The scenery, the weather, the course, the expo, the city, the post party. Did I mention the post party? Get it done and quit thinking about it and do it.

Loved this race and the city. It is my favorite marathon to date. Definitely worth trying to get into NYC how ever you can manage. It is one of the few races I could be talked into repeating .

This is a good race for what it is. Well organized and humbling experience to be in the midst of all the great military personnel. Definitely worth doing but if you are a 50 Stater there are better ones to run in Ohio.

This is a class act all around. Definitely one to add to your list and Columbus is a good town too. This was my first marathon and one I would recommend for 50 Staters too.
