This was my first ever trail run and it was phenomenal. The beginner friendly distances drew me in after having raced with them in May at their half marathon.
I really liked having the option to race shorter or longer but without feeling as though my only option was a half marathon or longer.
The mountains and trails were incredibly beautiful and the post race food was tasty. The staff made the morning feel well organized but calm with a relaxed and friendly vibe.
I’ll be back this year to try my strength on the 10 mile course!

This race was absolutely great. The attention to detail, course signage, athlete swag and especially post race food and festivities were so well executed.
The race director communicated well and all the staff and volunteers made the whole morning run smooth
I loved running along the lake, being able.to see the mountains and passing spots on the course more than once. It gave my family a chance to cheer for me in multiple locations.
I’m signed up for this year and am looking forward to it. This is a great local race!
