The race is at Lake Pleasant. It is a treat to run across the dam. The rest of the race is up and down hills. It gets pretty technical in many places (I almost ate it a few times). Araviapa does a great job putting on races and keeping everyone safe.
The race ends at the lake and you can just keep running…into the lake!

Mesquite canyon is a quad burner for sure. The terrain is pretty technical. The entire time I’m constantly reminding myself to pick up my feet and not trip on the rocks. The scenery is gorgeous and you get a glimpse of the beauty of the white tank mountains.
