A very scenic out and back along the coast of Falmouth. We had some wind the day of the race so running back between miles 8-9-10 had some pretty strong wind resistance BUT otherwise great time of year to run on the Cape. Plenty of water/gatorade along the way. A gel/“food” station may be a nice addition to the race aid along the way! There is one steep but quick hill along the coast but the rest of the course is mainly flat.

This was hands down one of the prettiest courses I’ve ever ran. Plenty of water/Gatorade stops, really friendly and supportive volunteers, an encouraging atmosphere among participants… and can we talk about the setting again?!?! Flat, easy course. Two of my friends doing the race were first time half marathoners and achieved their desired times and had great experiences. The post-race refreshments and atmosphere was also great. We all really enjoyed this race and hope to do it again!
