Challenging race with some tough inclines! Organized very well and is a lot of fun and a great way to test yourself. If you’re running the half, make sure to bring a camelback or water with you. There’s not a lot of places to set up water stations and it can get pretty hot out there! Can’t wait until next year!

This is a great run. It’s not in Yosemite but it’s more than close enough to visit the park. The scenery is beautiful, taking place around bass lake. The first 4 miles are on a trail, some ups and and down, slightly challenging but shortly afterwards, you’re greeted by a nice downhill that lasts until approximately mile 10. The next 3 miles have some slight rolling hills that can be challenging if you sprinted the downhill portion and burned your legs out. The race finishes at Bass Lake. Water stations are set up about every 2 miles. The medal is awesome and the volunteers are great. I like staying in the town of Fish Camp since it’s only a couple of miles from the entrance of Yosemite and approximately 40 minutes to Yosemite Village. The town is about 20-25 minutes to the parking lot for the shuttles. Shuttle ride to the starting line is about 40 minutes.
