Same course as last year but it was ran in reverse which was a nice change. It was a cold rainy morning but didn’t diminish the run. Liked that they had Hurts donuts after the race, last year was cinnamon rolls which in my opinion wasn’t that good, but the Hurts donut was amazing!!

I ran this last year so I knew the course well. Which is why maybe I PR’d my 5k time and shaved 90sec off my time from last year. My only gripe is the sweatshirts, I signed up early and I received an email this week saying that the manufacturer ran out of the red zip up hoodies in my size and mine would be a grey pullover. I did get to switch it to a size up in the red one but only after the event.

Loved the course, scenery was great. Not hilly pretty, flat a nice easy run. Inspired me to try and run a 1/2 next year. Weather was also great. And pre/post run activities were great very entertaining and motivational.
