This race is a MUST DO for EVERYONE.
I run this race every year and have for 20 years.
Both FULL and HALF marathons are top best races on the earth.
The weather is great MOST YEARS. One or two years had a little rain but that also kept it cool and refreshing. Just carry a light raincoat to take on and off as needed. The course is great in the rain!
The scenery and course are so beautiful and enjoyable. Along rivers, lakes, down canyons, and through the trees.
The support is amazing and FUN. Each station a celebration!
The swag is beyond great! All the medals hang in my office and the tech shirts are my goto shirts anytime I run.
The great support staff and expo are super fun with lots of great pre-race options.
This is my all-time favorite Half and Full Marathon!!!

This is very scenic. Along Ogden river, around Pineview Dam, through Ogden Canyon, along shaded bike path along river, under the famous Ogden arch then finishes along a street of cheering crowds. Great shirt and medal. The pit stops are very cool with themes and fun people. Plenty of water, porta potties, snacks and FUN! Easy course – mostly downhill. small hill at mile 14.

We drove the course the night before and it was beautiful along river and zion canyons in site. We had lots of rain for the race however and didn’t get to see the same beautiful views but it was a fun run with lots of MUD. VR does a great job with their races. Nice shirts and medals.

This is by far my favorite half marathon. It has spectacular views of Lake Powell. You run around a trail on the ridge overlooking then lake, then cross over the bridge (over the dam) then down into the park along the lake and end at Stateline. Great course of trail and road. Great medal at the end.

This race is up hills and through the trees on sometimes only narrow tracks. it is a tough race One of the toughest I have ran. What goes up comes down but it is rocky so you can’t make up for the up hill. the beginning and end of the race are on mostly a wide trail with some road There are some beautiful views through the trees and if you want to earn your special Grizzly medal at the end it is all worth it.

This is a beautiful race with views of the Tetons most of the race. It is a little hilly and there is a part that goes along a busy road but most of the race is backroads with great views. Shuttling was an issue but should be fixed next year. I did the Grizzly – both Tetons and West Yellowstone back to back. The medals are the BIGGEST and the BEST! Vacation Races does a great job.
