Scenery is cool, the race start and finish by the beach was very nice as well.
Organization was excellent. You get free race photos (or let us say included in the race price). The food post run was very good: taste, variety, and healthy.
The start waiting in the Hangout was cozy. Same with the party post race.
Ceremony awards was fun and well organized.
So if you are looking for a marathon to have fun without the stress/complications of a huge crowd, and enjoy a touristic location, then the Big Beach Marathon must be on the list.

Definitely, the amount of spectators, and how they cheer you, it is unbelievable. It is clear that the Philly people love their marathon, and you feel cheered like nowhere else.
Medal and race shirt were really good.
The course is beautiful, but challenging because of the rolling hills. The total ascent is more than 600 ft.
There were very long lines to use the portable toiles at the start, even just 5 minutes before the start. Early arrival is highly recommended.
After the finish line, the food variety was sort of limited.

The expo was awesome. Open space, a lot of free samples, and free T-shirts.
The scene during the race was unforgettable. I saw runners with a camera on a stick and filming while running. Really beautiful.
