Wonderfully organized, warm area to wait for start, drum bands along the route, lots of encouragement on the way, different fuel stations, real oranges, warm chicken soup at the end. Almost no uphill. Wanting to go again!

This was my first half, so I didn’t have any expectations. It was 31C that day and I had to start walking around the 14k mark. They were packing up the pylons behind me. By the time I got to the finish line the party was over. I lost by a good 20 minutes behind the next runner. There was a huge hill. A bunch of people missed the start because they didn’t really announce it. I don’t think I’ll do this one again.
