This was an okay marathon. I wouldn’t run it again. Most of Jersey City is not nice to look at so there were only certain parts that looked nice. A couple times the course was poorly marked so it was a little confusing but thankfully I did not run off course.

This was the flattest course I’ve run so far. It was completely flat until the hill at the end. It was a point to point course along the water, which was great. Not a lot of spectators, plenty of water stations, shuttles to the start line. I really liked this marathon.

By far, this marathon has had the craziest spectators (in a good way!). I could not believe how many spectators there were screaming for us. They were so supportive. I ended up running faster than I planned. I think it was because of the high energy from the spectators. The expo was nice. It was also nice staying in the city. They provided shuttles to and from the hotel I stayed at, which was super helpful.

This was the worst marathon I’ve ever experienced. The course was so poorly marked that I went the wrong way twice. Traffic was not blocked off at all. There were a ton of cars once it got later in the morning. It was very unsafe. It was just terrible from start to finish. I highly recommend to never do this marathon.

This was a nice downhill marathon. The morning was FREEZING. I was completely unprepared (my fault!) and did not realize how cold it was going to be in the morning. The bus ride from the hotel was around 40 minutes or so and then we all had to wait in the cold for the marathon to start. That waiting in the cold was almost unbearable. So definitely prepare for that part! The weather quickly warmed up once the marathon started and it even felt hot! Overall a nice marathon.

This was a nice marathon. Glad I chose this one for Arizona. The scenery was very nice. It was raining for the first 30 minutes of the marathon and then stopped. Beware of the rolling hills. They might not look like they are difficult but oof they are! There are hotels in the area in walking distance so it was a very easy area to navigate to and from the marathon.

This was a fun experience. The best part of the marathon was running through the parks. Heads up- running through the parks is only for a very short distance compared to the rest of the marathon (maybe like 10 minutes out of over 5 hours?). Almost the entirety of this marathon is running on the highways, which was very boring. There were multiple characters throughout the marathon, which you could take pictures with. I went to Magic Kingdom later on in the day with my medal on and it was a lot of fun seeing all the other runners with their medals on as well. Beware- prepare yourself for the FREEZING cold waiting for the marathon to start!

This has been my favorite marathon so far. However, I could be biased since it was my first marathon and I live in Los Angeles 🙂 The crowd support was great! The course was also great- we ran through many areas of Los Angeles. It was really nice to see. The expo has been the best expo I have experienced so far. It’s like a party! This was hands down such an amazing marathon. I HIGHLY recommend it. Also, the California weather is perfect 🙂
