This was one of my favorite half marathons I’ve ever done. Starting & finishing at the Silverado Resort (where I also stayed) made the pre-race prep & post-race celebrations seamless & enjoyable.
The weather in Napa is hot during the day, but the cloud cover and rolling fog from San Francisco hovers over the area at night and the early morning, so it was actually a cool race in the middle of summer
The course itself, while it is an out & back, started down one loop and then returns via a different area. Running the Silverado Trail is a total dream – mostly flat with vineyards on each side.
