This race is by far my favorite that I’ve done so far this year. The Swag alone is worth the price of admission! The convention the day before was great and it’s all about women and empowering us! The first 2 miles are uphill which is challenging and the last 2 and back down aonyou donthebhars work up front and coast through the end. 🙂
The after race was amazing and such a sense of pride and accomplishment. Highly recommend this race – my friend ran with me (he’s a male runner) and had to be at the very back hive as all women start the race ahead of the men which I thought was kinda cool. He really loved the race also – one of his faves!

Loved this race! I was a first time runner for this race and did the 7K. It was a bit challenging at times with the inclines but overall a good mix and great workout. The after party is well worth it and the swag is nice too! 🙂 will be running again for sure

This race has it all now that’s its added a run option. For $20 you provide food for the less fortunate and get to run. $5 extra for the T-shirt. Top 50 male and female finishers received a medal and the after party was great also. Course does have some hills and it was really hot this year but it as always was great fun!

This is just a fun run! Easy course, beer stop every half mile and the swag isn’t bad. Although no finisher medal but you get a pint glass and a beer of choice to fill it after the run. 🙂
The T-shirt’s are always the same design, they just switch out different colors but I have to say they’re comfy T-shirt’s. Overall, for the $25 I paid to do it…it’s worth it. My advice – wait and don’t pay full price…shop around for deals on Cincy Savers or Groupon for this one. 😉

I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Being born and raised in Cincinnati I’ve heard of the pig a million times but never thought I could do it and had no idea how many options for races they had until this year. It’s absoluely amazing…I ended up doing the 10K and 5K om saturday and an the full marathon open relay on Sunday…what an amazing weekend. The event was very well organized especially for the amount of people that attend. I had room to run for the most part and never felt over crowded. The finisher medals are very impressive also! So happy and already planning on doing the Skyline 3 way with extra cheese next year!!!

I signed up for this as something different and fun. I had no idea what I was getting into but I truly loved it. The 5K was challenging as it’s completely through the woods on all different types of terrain, hills, bumps, rocks. Although this course was very challenging (especially for it being my first ever trail run) the scenery going through was beautiful and it kept my mind occupied while running to which was nice. The medal for this race is by far…amazing! Plus you get you tech T-shirt and they feed you afterwards. Well worth the price of admission. On top of that of you finish at the top 3 of your age group (or overall top 3 winners for male/female) you are invited to Nationals next year. I’m going!! 🙂

I love doing the heart mini however…there are a LOT of people and they let everyone go at once. Instead of lining people up by speed you’re constantly getting held up by people casually waking, etc and it’s a bit annoying. Other than that, a good time and it’s for a great cause.

Only the drawback to this is there’s no medal. But! You get a cool T-shirt, tickets to a cyclones game and other cool stuff. The course wasn’t terribly hard and we luckily had beautiful weather for the run. This was my first Frozen 5K. I’ll be back next year!
