Join us for a beautiful run through the streets of Vancouver. The Vancouver America Marathon & Half will cater to new and seasoned long distance runners looking to finish their first marathon or qualify for the Boston Marathon.
The Vancouver America Marathon is the perfect race to not only enjoy a 26.2 mile USATF certified and Boston Marathon qualifier course, but also enjoy the scenery of our beautiful city of Vancouver. The scenic route begins on Columbia Way near the banks of the Columbia River, winds through the streets of the city, continues through our historic region of Ft. Vancouver National Park, and a short distance will provide you with nearly 4 miles of views of our stunning Columbia River waterfront trails. Our finish line as post-race celebration takes place at Esther Short Park.
Walkers and Runners are both welcome! The course will be open until 2pm giving you 7 hours to complete the race. During this time, you will have full support from our medical team, volunteers, flaggers and police officers. After 7 hours, you’ll be instructed to follow the normal rules of the road as the streets will be open to the public.
The Vancouver America Half Marathon was tailored for fast times and beautiful landscape. The 13.1 mile USATF certified route begins on Columbia Way, winds through the streets of the city, continues through our historic region of Ft. Vancouver National Park, a short distance will provide you with nearly 4 miles of views of our stunning Columbia River waterfront trails. A quick visit back through downtown Vancouver will bring you back to a welcoming crowd at the finish line and to your final destination at Esther Short Park and our past-race celebration!
